garden notes

I have been planning a new flowerbed in our garden. The plot faces east/south, there can be a bit windy from the east, but it shouldn’t be a problem. My flower combination is inspired from the Danish magazine Isabella.

But first I had to prepare the soil. And – I had to paint the wall behind the flowerbed. In our rebuilding process we seem to have totally overlooked the foundation wall…

And finally – the flowers

Hydrangea bluish/brown/purple in the back corner.
Surrounded by two peony plants (
Sara Berhardt & Dr. Alexander Fleming)
Hellebourus, two whietes, one purple.
Autumn Anemones, different kinds pink to purple.
Alchemilla mollis.
I also put some Fritillaria meleagris in the ground.
And I planted seeds for two kinds of summer flowers, Indian Cress Black Velvet
Tropaeolum majus & Black Peony Paeoniflorum .
